Professional Supervision for Massage Therapists
Massage therapists can get direct, one-on-one help
from Tracy in their work with people with cancer.
Therapists can phone in for clinical supervision,
help with making a presentation or in-service,
or support for their outreach and promotion efforts.
Clinical Supervision
Therapists call with questions about client cases,
working with other health care providers, or other
work with people with cancer.
Evidence-Based Presentations
Not all massage therapists feel comfortable
making presentations or using research to promote
their work.
Tracy can provide direction to therapists
gathering research to support massage with people
with cancer.
Not all massage research is equal, so
going into a presentation with the strongest work
can be key for credibility and success. After listening
to the scope and audience of a planned presentation,
Tracy can help choose the best research and put
it in context, saving therapists time and frustration.
Outreach
Massage therapists often experience their
work with people with cancer as a calling.
Supervision
can provide help with expanding their work through
networking, advertising, and promotional materials.
Before calling for supervision, please review
recent writing on massage and cancer.
It may be that
your questions are answered in the literature.
Fees for professional supervision are $65 for 30 minutes
and $120 for one hour, with a half-hour minimum.
Most clinical questions can be handled in a half-hour.
